What's beter threading or waxing?

What is a lash lift and how does it work?
You will lie back and relax as your lash artist applies silicon pads to protect the lower lashes skin of your eyelids and then applies a solution on your lashes to give them a lift and curl. In principle it is like that of a perm for your eyelashes, training them to curl upwards instead of sitting straight.
How long will the lash lift last?
The lash lift will last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your lash’s growth cycle.
How long does a lash lift take?
A lash lift can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, including prep. If you choose to enhance the effect of your lash lift with a tint, it may take an extra 10 minutes.
What do I need to do prior to my procedure?
We will cleanse your lashes and lids to ensure they are thoroughly clean and dry. Please remove contacts prior to the appointment or bring a contact case to remove at the appointment and do not wear waterproof mascara up to 48 hours prior to the appointment.
How do lash lifts compare to lash extensions?
Lash lifts won’t give you the voluminous effect unless you already have plenty of lashes. They simply lift the lashes to a curled position.
Are lash lifts painful or bad for your lashes?
Not at all. Proper training is required to perform the procedure, ensuring the Lash Lift only benefits clients. Lash lifts can be a very soothing experience with minimal (to no) discomfort. Before the solution is applied, the lash artist will need to position silicon pads on top of your lower lash line to keep your lower lashes out of the solution. Apart from that, the remainder of the treatment is very relaxing, and you will keep your eyes closed the entire time.
Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?
Yes, but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your lift. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is recommended; so as to avoid using makeup removers that may weaken the lift.
Can I use an eye lash curler?
Not recommended. There will be no need for an eyelash curler, as this beauty service gives a much better result than using a curler, but more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.
Are lash lifts safe during pregnancy?
As with any and all beauty services, pregnant or breastfeeding women should speak with a physician before getting a lash lift. Pregnancy has also been known to affect the growth rate, and texture, of hair and eyelashes, so pregnant clients may experience less lift than usual.

For lasting results, try not to get your brows or lashes wet for up to 12 hours after treatment. If you are removing make-up, try not to exfoliate the treated area or use oil-based products as this will cause the dye to fade faster.
Will tinting make my brows look thicker?
Because tinting temporarily stains the skin, it will temporarily fill in brow gaps to make brows look fuller. The skin staining typically washes away after a few days, leaving the hairs tinted but the skin unstained.

It has been days since my henna brow service, and they are still too dark for my liking?
Sometimes it is possible that Henna Brow may be slightly too dark. If this is the case, it is recommended to fade the Henna Brows using a mild facial cleanser. When doing this, keep in mind that fading the Henna Brows too much could result in the Henna not lasting for its full amount of time.
Does the henna use in the henna brow service have to be dark?
Absolutely not! Luckily, we have access to a wide arrange of colours and can even customise certain colour levels for clients.
What should I avoid before coming for my henna brow service?
It is recommended that before your service you avoid spray tanning for at least a week and come in with a clean face. Spray tan pigmentation can create yellow or green undertones to the henna and can cause excess Henna color deposits leading to staining.
Is it safe to receive the henna brow service while pregnant?
Although the Henna is mostly natural and should lead to no issues with pregnant clients, hair changes within pregnant clients are certainly possible and can therefore lead to Henna Brows not lasting to its full capability. If there are any concerns, it is best to seek advice from your medical professional.
How do I care for my brows after henna?
For longer-lasting results, avoid getting the brows wet for at least 24 hours. Also avoiding heat and steam for 24 hours. It’s best to not use any skincare products containing oil on or near the brow area.

Although the henna is 98% natural, there are small trace amounts of PPD. This allows for faster processing times. Without it, the henna could take several hours to stain the skin.

A rough estimate of a time frame would be about 2 weeks. This is also depending on the aftercare, hair growth, and the client’s skin type.
